Research And Application Of Electronic Official Document Management System Base On XML

In E-government, the interchange of electronic document takes a leading position, it is of vital importance to enhance and improve the efficiency of electronic document processing. Because of absence of a consistent format standard, electronic documents generated by different offices may be different, which will result in low-shared, lag-open use of information resources. The release of "XML-based electronic document format specification" standardizes the electronic document processing formats. In using XML to standardize the document format is far more scientific approach, because it has several advantages, such as a good data storage format, scalability, highly structured, easy for network transmission and so on. At present, our country's information technology still lags behind western countries, and many of the core technology are held by foreigners. In the document processing field, some companies have developed standards based on XML and have been approved by foreign counterparts. Our country has a further standardization of the XML document processing standards, which has brought new development opportunities for the document processing. In the future, promotion and widespread use of standards-based XML document management system is imperative. Therefore, this issue actively researches document management system based on XML specification.At abroad, some sophisticated electronic document systems have existed, but "electronic document" is a significantly regional, national information resources, its presentation, management processing, degree of openness to the public involves in many factors, such as institutional, cultural customs, history traditions and so on. We can not apply the existing norms and technology abroad directly. The main problems of Electronic document processing system available currently is the lower standardization and the management and share of electronic data files need to be further studied and perfected. Functional limitations, most of the existing system, limited to the sending and receiving documents and registration, as well as simple query, but they can not support the whole process of document processing.This research project mainly uses standard XML to process official documents to improve the efficiency of document processing. It uses document format provided by "XML-based electronic document format specification". System functions include drafting documents, reviewing documents, issuing documents, receiving documents management, security management, presenting documents and so on, and it supports the entire operation of the electronic documents.Figure [9] Table [0] Reference [29]...
