In the mid 20th century, a crisis called the "software crisis" ocured, the crisis let software developers have come to realize the importance of software engineering. Software architecture from the gradual process from the data flow diagram for the object-oriented UML model for the model from the development of component-oriented, software engineering field as a professional has made rapid development. Although the developers have greatly enhanced the ability to control the software development process, but many still do not completely solve the problem. For example: the metadata is not uniform because different platforms can result in interoperability, development process, documentation and implementation code out of touch and so on. This time a new software development framework - Model Driven Architecture (MDA) is the Object Management Group (OMG) mentioned, its purpose is to solve these problems have long plagued developers.MDA give out a new method to software development,and it will make software development different from before.In this thesis, I introduce the MDA background, key technology and the development of a detailedanalysis of patterns and the Unified Modeling Language (UML), meta objectfacility (MOF), the data warehouse metamodel (CWM), XML Metadata Interchange(XMI) Relevant standards such as MDA. And I use MagicDrawUml and androMDA to realize a community chronic diseasemanagement platform for the thesis background.the MDA in the J2EE platform for application development and architecture integration, discussed the problems encountered in the implementation of and summarizes the impact of MDA for software development.Chronic disease management platform for community development practice showed that MDA-based development model of synchronization of the documentation andimplementation code, providing a unified metadata management framework, the model is automatically converted to process not only can greatly reduce software development time, and can greatly Improve software quality and re expense.
