The 21st century is the information economy age, to master the most advanced information technology is the important symbol of holding the economic lifeline of the times and the prosperous and powerful country. But to master the advanced information technology and cultivate the innovative talents is the most key factor. These have indicated the direction for educational reform of our higher vocational colleges. That is, take the market demand as the guidance, introduce the new technology to reform the professional curriculum system and content of the course. It showed that the rapid development of EDA technology that takes the microelectronic technology as the foundation, takes the computer technology as the carrier, take the software technique as core has changed the structure of traditional electronic system and the method of design and development in the field of electron technology, the development of science and technology, and the renewal of technique. This also made new demands of electronics technicians in the 21st century. They must have the solid theoretical basis of electron technology, master the advanced design technology and method of electronic system-----EDA technology, and has the integrated design ability of developing electronic system and innovation ability. The new technique is led into the traditional professional curriculum, the new knowledge enriches the traditional professional knowledge, and also the new knowledge assists theory teaching. We can initiate the curriculum reform in electron technology by introducing the EDA technology from three levels:the EDA technology is led into the course teaching, the curriculum project, and graduation project of electrical major.
