In recent years, with the development of communication networks, the quantity and types of network equipments increase dramatically. It's a concerned issue about how to manage so many network equipments in different types and manufactures effectively, and reduce the complexity to improve the service quality.This thesis designs and implements the following functions according to the features which are required by telecommutication operator:1. Passwords automatically updating. It's realized by updating new passwords according to the old passwords which is got from database through remote login in network equipments. And then, if successfully, it stores the new passwords into database and changes passwords batchly. On the aspect of task scheduling, a flexible task scheduler is implemented by using Quartz.2. Network equipment state detection. It's realized by pinging the IP addresses of the network equipments to monitor net connectivity which is started by the server, and alarms if there are errors. It can save the data of delay, packet lose and store them in logs for future querying. Due to the particularity of core net, for some equipments which are forbidden ping by equipments from other domains, it need to login to other domains firstly.3. Network equipments information management. It realizes the functions of adding, deleting, modifying and searching. In addition, it also includes query the information of equipments and opening ports and closing the ports, in order to manage them in a unified platform. Because of the complexity of core network, some equipments in second layer can only be logined from the equipments in first layer which are connectted to them. These logining information have been stored in the database in advanced, and this course can be finished automaticlly when it need to be, so some tedious processes can be reduced through the automatic logining.After the system being built, check intensity has been improved. It is increasing from one time check of daily assignment to twenty-four times. And it realized network equipments maintenance automatically, and saved the cost of two persons per day.
