Electrical or non-electrical physical signal is the input data of signal acquisition analysis system First the input signal is conversed into the signal which system could accept, then conversed into digital signal through conditioning circuit, at last the digital signal is processed by core processor. Though common signal acquisition and analysis system is powerful, it has much restrictions when used in filed. Hand-held signal acquisition and analysis instrument is mainly used in filed, its advantages are those: small in volume, easy to take, high performance and so on. In order to meet the need of vibration test, a usual signal acquisition and analysis system is developed based on ARM9 microprocessor and embedded Linux.Industrial ARM9 of AT91SAM9263 microprocessor is used as system CPU, open source of Red Hat9 Linux is used as the tool of software development. The design of system'hardware is finished based AT91SAM9263 microprocessor, mainly including: microcontroller'core circuit, the module of data acquisition, the module of Scared storage, communication interface, the interface of keyboard and touch screen. The development environment of Linux based on PC is built, mainly including such parts: the building of cross-compiling environment based on pc, the compiling of boot loader and kernel based on super terminal, the kernel'starting based on super terminal. Based on the principle of hardware, the procedures of device driver and application for some modules such as ad conversion, led, key, are developed and compiled by the terminal of Linux operating system, at last the modules'test functions are finished based on super terminal.At last, we selected good cross-platform of qt/embedded as development tool and realize four functions: system settings,signal acquisition,signal analysis and data management.The embedded system of signal acquisition and analysis based on ARM greatest advantages are those every module is independent,good in common use and extensibility, this embedded system has wide development space and application prospect in the field of industrial measurement and control.
