From "China Women's News" launched our country's first mobile phone newspaper—"China Women's News-MMS Edition" in July 18,2004 to the present, Mobile newspaper has gone through six years. With the mobile terminal technology and the popularity of 3G technology, Mobile media is entering the 3G reign gradually. Facing 3G, how will mobile newspapers grow? There are kinds of different opinions. Some people think that the heyday of mobile phones will be coming round in the 3G era, while others believe that it is "crying wolf".The first chapter of the report mainly introduces the definition, characteristics, morphology of the mobiles newspaper and its overview of development in China. The second chapter is the main part of this report, which selects "Early Evening News" as a sample of objects. On the one hand, I do content analysis on the "Early Evening News" article text, detailed analysis of the content features on MMS mobile newspaper, summarize the strengths and weaknesses. On the other hand supported by small-scale its user's survey. Through a simple user experience analysis, I understand the effect of the spread of mobile newspapers and the customer satisfaction. By combining the transfer of transmission of the content and recipients of the angle of the spreading effect, the report summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the MMS mobile newspaper background in 3G era.The third part of the report is mainly of 3G mobile news site which burn out in the context of 3G technology. Selected mobile Jinyang net as the research object, I analyze its structure, content, profit model and other aspects of the situation, summarize the advantages and strengths and then put forward my own ideas and suggestions. Finally, I predict the potential for that 3G mobile news site become the main direction of development of mobile newspapers in the future.End of the article, Comparative analysis of their individual and common between these two different forms of mobile newspapers, and explore the development direction of mobile newspapers in 3G era. My study reached the following conclusions:the first, MMS mobile newspaper destined to become a transitional form of mobile newspapers, because of its small amount of information, poor interaction and never been able to break the bottleneck of profit model;the second, thanks to its clear and concise reporting manner, strong user habits, active communication, and other advantages, MMS mobile newspaper will not come to an end in the short period of time. On the contrary, it will be continue to play its prompts and play a "Pop-up box port" role for the 3G mobile newspaper in 3G era; the third,3G mobile news site will become the largest possible of 3G Mobile Newspaper' development, with its mass of information, flexible interaction, diversity of earnings patterns and other advantages; the last,3G mobile newspaper will show a richer form of expression and its architecture will be the "MMS +3G News Network". That means MMS sends information that user interested in to their mobile phone at any time, to reminding and guiding the user login 3G News Network for an extension of reading as a "pioneer". |
