After a field study at Qingdao Naval Museum and through the selection of Adobe Flash,3DS Max and Adobe AfterEffects based on a meticulous analysis and research of the actual situation, the author accomplished the design and establishment of the digital media animation system in its pre-and-post stages via the combination of 2D and 3D. The ideas and steps in design and establishment are brought into a thorough presentation in this article, with an effect of easy comprehension. On the effectuation of the digital media interaction platform, the principle of a clean and clear UI and a practical and easily operable structure is well applied in its design and final production.On the selection of the materials, the author collected many of them and represented them via 3D, because the facilities inside Qingdao Naval Museum are relatively old as it is the first established naval museum in China and many new weapons are not in a position to be presented. Besides, there is also a special area exhibiting the records and related pictures of the naval war history. In order to represent the vast scene of the war, the author has also chosen the way of 3D to bring audiences a thrilling effect.
