Animation is the integration of art and technology. The artistry of animation needs to be supported by technnology, but technology needs to be presented by animation. The development of animation technology increases the speed of animation design and animation production, and makes the effect of artistic expression increase to the imagination. With the development of computer digital technology, two-dimensional animation gradually improves the traditional way of animation production, and it guides the core technology of traditional hand-drawn animation into computer. So computers accomplish role modeling, scene drawing, sub-mirror, original animation, the coloring, post-effects and other related technologies, which provides a technology platform for corporations to control costs, facilitate management and increase core competitiveness. With the continuous development of the times and technology, there will be a variety of up-to-date animation techniques, but the unique artistic expression of two-dimensional animation can not be replaced.The Significance of the study of the implementation of digital technology in two-dimensional animation are:it promotes the creation of original two-dimensional animation, builds up digital technological environment of two-dimensional animation, and provides needed technical personnel for enterprises; it provides a theoretical and technical basis for the development of Chinese animation, and builds a theoretical and technical platform of high level, high efficiency and high quality for the majority of animation enthusiasts. This project, on the basis of the course Two-dimensional Comprehensive Training, in the understanding of the basic status que of the current animation industry and its development tendency, masters the digital technology of two-dimensional animation design and production, at the same time, it provides a complete process and theoretical guidance of two-dimensional animation.This article introduces the status ques and development tendency of current animation industry at home and abroad, and analyzes the differences between two-dimensional animation and three-dimensional animation, the advantages of digital technology of two-dimensional animation and its core production process, relative technology, artistry and applications. This thesis, taking the project Material World as its case, illustrates the importance of the pre-script, role design, scene design and sub-lens design of two-dimensional animation, and it accomplishes the role design and production, scene production, the movement of background lens, the production of role key frame, the midcut in role motion, path animation, layered processing and the shearing and composition of digital techonology in this project by using digital software.With the development and improvement of digital technology, it will provide better performance tools and application domains for the art of animation. We should make full use of the most advanced digital technology to produce a more colorful and wonderful animations.
