Design And Implementation Of A Network Media Website Based On Open Source CMS

In recent years,Internet industry has developed rapidly in China,the number of Internet users continue growing. Get various information from Internet still occupy a large proportion of the behavior of Internet use. As a new media,the impact of Internet continues developing. In contrast,the shortcomings of newspapers,periodicals and other traditional print media,such as information lag,form monotonous,difficult to interact with readers,are becoming even more serious. The circulations and advertising sales of print media are declining gradually. In order to save the weakness and achieve sustainable development,the traditional paper-based media should not to explore new ideas from content targetingjournal idea,topic selection and design,but to explore new channels actively and combine with the network,or to find other ways.This paper is based on the data of the China Internet Development Statistics Report and the National National Reading Survey. This paper analyzes the impact of the network media to the public and the current media market,help the traditional paper-based media practitioners recognize the new situation and change in thinking. This paper also proposes the idea of building a network media based on the Content Management System and existing resources.In a narrow sense,the web publishing includs publishing books,electronic journals,audio and video products and electronic publications,or reproduce the content of published works. But in the broad sense,the web publishing includs all online information release behavior. So,the methods,organizational structure,publishing processes of the web publishing,should be different from the traditional publishing. Network media is no longer to provid selected and limited content regularly,but to update the massive contents anytime and anywhere. Network media selects the useful content for readers by editor's choice,tags and click rating,or readers can search the contents which they are interested in by keyword actively. Network media provids contents actively,readers are also involved in content development by comment areas and BBS. These are the manifestation of the spirit of Web 2.0.Beacuse the nature of network media is website,web publishing is publishing contents on the website,Content Management System is the most suitable core for the website. We can apply the theories and methods of software engineering in the development process,and take software development project management of network media's construction. The network media's construction is re-development based on Content Management System. This paper provids survival models,task decompositions and schedulings of network media's construction.
