As a new form of publishing, digital publishing is not too long, but the impact of digital publishing on the publishing industry is huge. Digital publishing has become an emerging field in the publishing industry, which has the advantages of real-time, interactive, hypertext, mass storage, transmission, high efficiency, and cross national boundaries.Harbin Institute of Technology Press digital publishing platform for project of Harbin Institute of Technology Press(hereinafter referred to as the press) the transformation and upgrading of the digital design and development, including resource processing, resource production, resource management, post operation, on-demand printing system five. The use of the latest digital publishing technology to optimize the publishing process, save the cost and improve the efficiency of publishing, publishing resources to achieve value-added, digital comprehensive transformation of Harbin Institute of Technology Press upgrade the iconic role of professional publishing house whole process reengineering.The core content of this system is to manage the contents of the press, and to realize the convergence and the controllability of the digital content resources. The content of the resource management system to support streaming format e-books, e-books, digital multimedia products based on Epub3 to effectively manage professional books, pictures, audio and video resources, to provide support for the next step of product development and operations services.The whole system is designed according to the layer. Each layer is connected with each other by loosely coupled mode. The bottom layer is composed by the resource layer, the digital processing layer, the data layer, the data mining integration layer and the application layer. The whole platform is based on B/S structure development and construction, to provide the end user is Web system, users only need to operate and access to the system through the Web page of various functions and resources. The system supports resource retrieval, resource indexing, resource storage, resource classification, content review, copyright information management, version management and other functions. Digital content through the indexing process, the formation of cross platform, multi channel digital publication release format, multi terminal requirements, to achieve the controllability of resource publishing enterprises. After the function test system, all functions can be implemented properly. After compatibility testing, compatibility is better able to meet the different users on all major browsers; performance testing of test conditions to meet the huge demand for database connection.System in the design, construction of the overall application software and network platform, and to achieve all of the software system with standardized, open, and can support the press to choose any other more applicable, open and standard other third party software, to ensure the future of any same standards, open software systems, and has built a system seamless.
