With the rapid development of e-commerce, the efficiency of logistics distribution is becoming more and more important. How to choose logistics service supplier and utilize the corresponding services effectively has become a major concern for users. Therefore, how to design an effective recommendation mechanism to help users choose logistics service providers according their requirements has considerable practical significance. Based on this research background, automatic recommendation mechanism of logistics service providers, which combines with personalized recommendation technology and multi-agent technology, is designed in the paper. It can recommend qualified logistics service providers according to the user preferences and user interest, and then enhance user satisfaction and improve logistics distribution efficiency.First, the current situation of logistics service providers'recommendation is introduced, and some problems are identified. Then, some core technologies of personalized recommendation domain are introduced, analyzing the limitation of some similarity calculation method and the deficiency of some basic recommendation methods. According to the requirement of logistics service providers' recommendation, a complete logistics service provider evaluation system is built. At the same time, comprehenvise similarity calculation method, user interest prediction, and hybrid recommendation strategy are designed, in order to accomplish individual similarity calculation method for users and service providers, and offer different recommendation strategies for different users. How to achieve the multi-agent recommendation system with corresponding technologies are also discussed. Finally, unresolved issues in the paper are summarized, and the follow-up studies are discussed.
