This article, based on the continuous annealing furnace of a hot-rolled stainless steel plant, focuses on studying the control strategy of furnace temperature and establishing the model for strip temperature.On the basis of the analysis of continuous annealing process, the principle of dual cross limited control is used to achieve automatic temperature control in this paper. Fuzzy PID controller is designed to optimize the dynamic performance. Currently, the fuzzy PID has been applied to the actual project with good performance. For combustion control, fuzzy self-optimizing controller is used to automatically search for the best air-fuel ratio in order to improve thermal efficiency and reduce environmental pollution. Simulation results show that this strategy has a good effect.It is complex issue to construct the model of strip temperature. The conventional mechanism modeling is very difficult to achieve, and the classic least squares identification are ineffective because it is not applicable to nonlinear systems. So strip temperature model with same specifications and same speed is established by fuzzy reasoning based on Takagi-Sugeno model. Then neural network is used to train structure parameters of the model. Modeling results of four sets of sample data show that this modeling method can achieve the desired results.
