A Practical Research On Curriculum Integration In Mechanics & Electronics Of Five-Year Advanced Vocational Education

The five-year system of advanced vocational education meets great challenges and opportunities. And contemporary economic life requires high literacy to five-year vocational students. These, as well as present situation of mathematics teaching, are the basis of this research."The mathematics curriculum standards of five-year advanced vocational education in Jiangsu province (trial)"serves as a guide to this research, and it also points out the theory, practical and extension value, as integrates the mathematics teaching contents with specialized courses in Mechanics & Electronics of five-year advanced vocational education.This research points out the curriculum integration's necessity and feasibility, through the reorganization of some special teaching contents and experience at home and abroad. It also makes detailed investigation to the five-year students'mathematics learning, their understanding of the relation between mathematics and specialized courses, and the professional teachers'attitudes to curriculum integration. It finds out problems and then seeks for ways. This research develops ideas, principles and methods under the curriculum integration's basic theory direction. And it still makes practical researches to the integration of mathematics teaching contents with specialized courses.For five-year vocational students, they can get a much better understanding from curriculum integration and mathematics teachers'specialized explanation.
