In recent decades, as the continuous development of microwave technology, it has been increasingly widely applied.The detection of microwave resonance parameters is one of the most basic and important applications in microwave technology filed. In this paper, microwave resonance parameters test system has been studied, and on this condition, a set of resonance parametric test systems is tentatively built. In the system, the control bus controls the signal source to generate sweep signal by computer, after the sweep signal coupled into the cavity and detected by the coaxial detector, the data acquisition card gets the current signal. It is then transferred back to computer and we will get the resonance parameters after the data being processed by computer program.In the thesis, we have analyzed the basic parameters of the resonant cavity and depend on the nonlinear mathematical expression among resonant frequency, quality factor and the voltage detected by detector, the calculation method of resonant frequency and quality factor has been derived, and it's the theoretical basis of the thesis. The phase-locked loop principle and composition have been analysis in chapter 3 and 4, and the loop filter design and selection have been studied. Firstly, we use the ADIsimPLL design software to simulation the signal source circuit and optimize the parameters, then analyze the simulated results. Based on the simulation, the PLL sweep signal resource has been designed, and then we have debugged and tested the signal source. In this paper, we also have discussed the detection principle and specifications of the detector.In this paper, on the LabVIEW development platform, and develop with the NI's USB-6008 portable data acquisition card, we have realized the functions of the sampling and results display. And VC++ data processing program invoke the .dll files created by LabVIEW program to calculate the resonance parameters. Through the experiment, the system has been applied, and the various components and functions of the system has been verified. The experimental results show that the various components and functions of the functional modules of the system are running well, the system operation is simple, the measurement speed is fast and the system can be effectively applied to resonance parameters test.
