With the quick development of modern science and technology and the increasing of requirement of data acquisition technology by people, data acquisition technology is improved greatly in last a few years, especially its precision and speed are becoming higher and higher. But all kinds of data acquisition systems based on ISA or PCI technique have some defects such as complex,expensive,unexpanded,electromagnetism disturb etc, which seriously limit their application. The appearance of USB bus resolve this problem properly. It is a new kind of serial communication standard which is provided by INTEL,NEC,MICROSOFT,IBM etc to solve the defects of traditional bus in 1995. In order to adapt the high-speed transmission,these companies establish the USB2.0 transmission Protocol in April 2004, which is based on the USB1.1, it makes its speed to reach 480Mb/s. The bus has some virtues such as convenient installation, high bandwidth, easily expanded and so on, so it has been become a developing trend of modern data acquisition transmission gradually.The real digital signal processing technology based on high speed digital signal processor gets great development, and is implemented in large-scale. TMS320C6713 is the floating DSPs from Texas Instrument, the maximum of its processing capability reach 1350MFLOPS, which make it one of the best DSPs, meanwhile it has a lot of interface and a strong ability to expand, which make it suitable to be a control chip.Based on TMS320C6713 and USB2.0, this paper designs a multi-channel real data acquisition system. It fully makes advantage of TMS320C6713 and CY7C68001 to make speed, precision high and make expansion, interface easy. In this paper some protocol and function modules are discussed. This paper is divided into tow parts, hardware and software. The hardware part includes analog signal input module, AD data acquisition module, USB module, and all hardware modules are controlled by TMS320C6713. The software part includes DSP software and PC software. The over all design is to pick DSP as the core processor, Through AD conversion,the colleted data are passed to the DSP for further mathematic transaction,then,the transacted data are directed to host computer via USB interface.
