Embedded technology has already been widely permeated in every respect of society during the post PC age with top development of digital information technology and network technology.The embedded technology has already become one of the hottest technologies with the development of 32 bit high performance microprocessor and the appearance of large quantity embedded operating system.Embedded system is an application-oriented, custom-made computer system combined with hardware, operating system, application software. It is widely used in industrial control, intelligent house control, electronics, instrumentation , robot, numerical control machine automotive electronicsand other industries, meanwhile, it is one of the most important research aspects in electronics right now. At present, whether the industrial control machine technology or programmable controller technology are infiltrate to the embedded field more and more gradually. Embedded industrial controllers are very popular and have great potential for application,with a very small size, extremely low power consumption for cooling and good cutting for hardware and software.This essay aims to the demands of industrial controller development, mainly based on industrial control, construct and develop Renesas MCU and uC/OS-II dased embedded controller. In the analysis based on the Renesas MCU, independent developed the embedded controller hardware platform at the core to SH7137 chip, Renesas. This embedded controller designed core board + floor, in hardware, use SH7137 microprocessor as the core part, and designed power circuit, RS232, RS485 serial interface, JTAG interface circuit, Man-machine interface circuit, and I/O module, in the design of the system, in order to expand its applications, specially designed RS485 and CAN communication module for the connections between networks to achieve network-based control. In software, transplanted real-time operating system uC/OS-II to the SH7137 microcontroller, in the transplantation of operating system, the processor-related C files (os_cpu_h, os_cpu_c.c), compilation files and intermediate vector were rewritten to run in SH7137, Renesas MCU and the design of the hardware driver interface functions, user-friendly for the second development. The embedded controller developed in this project is configurable, with good man-machine interface with RS23, RS485, and it CAN bus communication interface, multi-channel input and output, can mainly meet the demands of industrial control.
