Management Of Software Projects, Software Testing Research And Practice

With the software's scale and complexity's improving, people are paying more attention on software's quality and functional reliability. However, comparing to the standard and mature test system of large software companies abroad, domestic software industry has seriously deficient on product quality assurance and functional testing. The understanding of test, test ability, test process management and test control are still in initial stage. Therefore, earnestly study of software test management in software engineering and correctly use it while working is a very urgent task nowadays. The paper deeply studied and analyzed the theory,technology,methodology and tool of network management system project. And it was put in practice in Telecom Network Management System Project.The research of software test management in this paper basically covers each aspect of test process management. Firstly, the paper dissertate the role, situation and necessity of quality assurance work in the software development from the software testing theory. Based on it, the paper analyzes the process management, requirements management, defects management and configuration management from different stages of software testing, and detailed introduces the implementation method,technology and steps in software testing management. Finally, the methodology of software test management which was put forward in the paper is validated in Telecom Network Management System Project. It proves the research's validity and correctness.Achievements of the research in this paper can be used for reference in test management of the same kind of software projects.
