| SCM (Software Configuration Management) exits in the whole software life cycle. SCM provides a complete management resolution and active process for developing software. It is significant to both business manager and product developer. With the improvement of new SCM method, to the software company, SCM has been an important management method. SCM has be came the base of quality assurance, process improve and project management. However we may meet a new problem that how to implement SCM in a company ?The basic theory of SCM has become maturity comparatively , but when we meet a specific project, none of the existing theories could tell us how to make a useful SCM plan and carry it out, we always feel it is too difficult to practice SCM. In this paper, it discusses and analyzes the content and technic of SCM. We implement the software configuration management in the software part of whole development process of project of the baseband chip. In this paper, it combines the SCM theory with common software development process; and presents a new process module that supports SCM. It analyze the practically process of SCM based on the project of chip for mobile phone in Datang Microelectronics Technology Co.,LTD. It also has mentioned the methods and key steps to carry SCM into execution.This thesis is valuable to the organization who wants to perform SCM. The author had given a complete resolution to practice SCM. |
