Along with the development of science and technology,the demand of storage speed,capacity,the power consumption and reliability of great capacity storage of image becomes higher and higher,the main task of my research is how to design high quality great capacity storage of image.This paper introduces the background to the study,and then gives the hardware design and logic design.For MC1311 high-speed COMS camera,flash memory as a storage medium,FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)for the control of core of great capacity storage arrays,It designs the FPGA-based high-speed,great capacity image storage system.FPGA can be as high-speed data transfer to the flash cache as well as the realization of control timing of the flash to read,write and erase operation.Multi-stage flows and Parallel Processing technique are applied to deal with external high speed input data;and invalid blocks of FLASH chip scan be masked automatically. By using of the storage board,high speed real-time data can be successfully stored with high density lower speed FLASH chips.In the end, we use the kilomega ethernet corresponding with computer to transfer the image stored in the nand flash,this paper simply introduce the basal flow of development of embeded system,and giving the hardware and software of ethernet based on ARM-LINUX embeded system.
