The paper carries out on some space image monitoring system, designs ahigh-digital Video Camera system which conforms the development. The function of Video Camera, which is the important component of image monitoring system, is to transmit external scene to the monitoring equipment for real-time display.Base on big area array CCD image sensor, combining with the current advanced digital high-definition video standards, the digital high-definition imaging technology is researched in this paper. The system adopts KAI-2093CM (the output signal of which accords with SMPTE 274M), and FPGA+AFE, and HDSDI interface, to design high-definition camera. AFE and FPGA are united to provide driving signals for CCD, then CCD is drived to generate analog video signals; Base on the control of FPGA, AFE is used to carry through correlated double sampling,clamping, automatic gain and so on, finally converse analog video signal to digital signal;As the core processor, FPGA is used to complete the color interpolation, color space conversion, auto exposure, auto white balance and other algorithms,and so on;The video signal stream is assembled into high-definition parallel signals by FPGA, then LMH0030 serializes the parallel video signals, and transmits bit-serial video signal through HDSDI interface into the high-definition monitor.A simple design is introduced to produce driving signals in this paper;And new ideas of auto exposure and auto white balance algorithms are put forward, the internal RAM and DSP of FPGA are used to complete these algorithms,and the registers of AFE are skillfully used to achieve the image white balance;The successful conversion of serial digital signal comforming to SMPTE 292M realizes the high-definition camera,the resolution is improved to 1920×1080, the output video format is successfully implemented as 1920×1080/25/P.Experimental results show that the high-definition camera system can achieve high-definition shooting, the screen is clearer and easier to carry out real-time display, the camera complies with small, color, high-resolution requirements, and is suitable for the field of aerospace and other high-definition areas.
