TV can make some programs as festival, abstract all the national and even global audiences participate in the program with ritual mentality. I call this kind of TV program "TV Media Ceremony".TV media ceremony is a new TV program style, which combined the ritual view of the cultural anthropology. Actually, TV media ceremony has been on TV screen already, and TVs have paid attention to it. So, from the view of cultural anthropology, the article introduce the ritual view in the research of TV, try to disclose the value and functionalities of TV media ceremony by defining it and analyzing some classic cases of this kind of TV program.I found that TV media ceremony is such TV program with symbolic, performing, repeatability characters, the audience participate it and get the ritual experience, and found a kind of symbolic action procedure. TV media ceremony has unique specialists such as non-routine, monopoly, prediction, and these characters diff TV media ceremony with other TV programs.According to different standards, TV media ceremony can be divided into some different types such as Festival Ceremony, Theme Ceremony, Political Ceremony, Competitive Ceremony, Coronation Ceremony, Conquest Ceremony. Aggregation Ceremony and Order Ceremony etc. The article selects some classic cases to analyze in order to make some micro-research on TV media ceremony. In the TV media ceremony, the traditional TV roles have changed. The TV organization has become the organizer of ceremonies, and the moderator is the high priest, while the audiences are devotional worshiper.TV media ceremony combines the functionalities of ceremony and TV, and strengthens the functionality of TV further more.
