Research On The Construction Of Mainstream Media Ceremony For The 100th Anniversary Of The Founding Of CPC

The 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China is a grand event.As the central mainstream media with great influence,People’s Daily is one of the major disseminating subjects of this event,so it has reported this media event extensively.Media is the main bridge between individuals and society.It is an important task for media to improve the readability of reports and play a good role as a bridge by innovating reports.At present,with the rapid development of digital information technology and the in-depth development of media convergence,People’s Daily carried out the ceremonial construction of this important event through the matrix platform with the help of new media technology.Based on the theory of media ceremony,this study explores the characteristics of media ceremony and the construction strategy of media ceremony.The research found that in the presentation of media ceremonies,the number of ceremony communication subjects increased,and social media and users were "invited" to build the ceremony.Innovative ceremony communication content,make full use of new media interactive technology,leave deep memories for the audience;Expand the communication channels of ceremonies,radiate more audiences through offline on-site experience and participation in ceremonies.In the construction strategy of media ritual,the stereotyped behavior strengthens the power of media.To expand the temporal and spatial boundaries of rituals by carrying out rituals in multiple fields;Symbolic ceremony content,strengthen national identity.Finally,the conclusion is drawn that this media ceremony is of great significance.People’s Daily is not only recording the ceremony,but more importantly transforming the objective facts in the ceremony into symbolic symbols of the media,realizing symbolic meaning through communication,and realizing the public’s recognition of Chinese culture,identity and politics.Integrate society,maintain social unity and stability and awaken and write a new collective memory.
