Data Mining In The Postal Network Transport Analysis System

With the rapid progress of information technology,a large amount of hlstorlcal data has been accumulated in post.Ironically,important decisions are often made on the managerial experiences of decision makers instead of the scientific analysis of abundant initial data source.Hence,how to build decision support systems,which can provide excellent data analysis function,has become more and more important.Thus this paper will illustrate the research on application of data mining techniques in the field of postal net transportation system.This paper makes introduce about data mining at first.It mainly probes into the concept of data mining technology,the knowledge classifications of data mining and the data mining tools etc.Secondly,this paper discuss that how to put into effect data mining project,and analyses the application forms of data mining technology.This paper talks about the questions that data mining project put into effect.Finally,the application of a data mining model in Nantong postal net transportation system is introduced.Based on the analysis on net transportation system database,this model builds models through star schema to structure a logic model of warehouse;then, it will withdraw data from enterprise business database,and put the data through the processes of data examination,data scrubbing,data conversion and data protocol,after which the valuable and clean data will be loaded into the database to complete the structuring of warehouse.Data mining tools are adopted to analyze the data,with the results being displayed by Web Page to complete the postal net transportation analysis system in Nantong,which consists of five major function blocks such as system management,data acquisition,load analysis,cost analysis,data processing and so on.
