Panzhihua College Student Information Management System Design And Implementation

As the scale of Chinese higher education has been on constant expansion and the number of the students has been surging increase sharply, the information connected to the students has been multiplying, which requires a fully functioning management system of the students'information to manage the students'information according to the criterions, to do scientific statistics and to inquire the information fleetly. Especially for the divisions of the student work, every year they have to do lots of work such as the students'merit rating, subsidizing needy students and assessing the students'scholarships and grants, but it is often complicated to deal with the data in the traditional methods, and it is difficult to ensure accuracy. This thesis aims at this issue, takes Panzhihua University for the study case, designs and implements a set of student information management system mainly in order to solve the problems in the student work such as the students'disciplinary actions, the payment, the assessment of the students'comprehensive qualities, and the evaluation of the students'scholarships.The development of this system mainly includes two aspects: the establishment and maintenance of the background database as well the development of the front-end web pages. For the technology of Java possesses the advantages of cross-platform, safety and extremely strong network, this thesis follows the technical route of JSP/Servlet +TOMCAT +SQL Server, and the standard process of the software design and development, and designs the students'information management system under the development environment of eclipse. This system adopts B/S mode, and it has three kinds of user authorities: the students, the teachers and the administrators, and the users in different authorities log in different interfaces through a variety of page options to operate.According to the actual situation of Panzhihua University, this system respectively designs five function modules: log-in, students'information, curriculum information, teachers'information and scholarship assessment. At the same time, this system designs different operation interfaces for different users. After testing, the system is running well. Different types of users can basically operate the background database through the operation of the front page, and the system can automatically generate the students'scores of the comprehensive quality and the assessment of scholarships. The system is easy to maintain, it is scalable and low coupling, and it has a very good utility value.
