Discussion On The Evolution Of NGN And Chengdu Telecom Realization Of NGN Projects

Due to the increasing use of "the Internet", increasing demand for new multimedia services, increasing demand for a general mobility, convergence of networks and services, Past communications network cann't be satisfied with demand for new services.thus,we have to be required to develop a new network.this is NGN,viz. Next Generation Network. A packet-based network able to provide telecommunication services and able to make use of multiple broadband,QoS-enabled transport technologies and in which service-related functions are independent from underlying transport-related technologies. It enables unfettered access for users to networks and to competing service providers and/or services of their choice. It supports generalized mobility which will allow consistent and ubiquitous provision of services to users.In this thesis,first defining NGN, describing the object,function,technology and foreground. With the implementation of the Softswitch project for Chengdu Telecom ,put forward a design and application.In a later part my main work is:1, Defining NGN ,describing the nature or basic qualities of NGN ,the field of researching NGN, objectives of the NGN and the difference and connection of between NGN and softswitch step by step. Denial of the core of NGN is Softswitch technology. Pointed out the Softswitch technical is only a technical for the course of NGN development. And NGN is a network architecture System.2,Through the needs analysis for Chengdu Telecom,and telecommunications network is based on the status of Chengdu. compare the advantages and disadvantages of the various rehabilitation programs, choose the intelligent design for Chengdu Telecom. And design the programs for access layer .3,In practical engineering, these designs have played a better effect. The project of NGN was actualized for Chengdu telecom in later., I appreciate the more profound development trend of NGN will become more and more away from us near..
