The Application Of Next Generation Network(NGN) In Local Area Network(LAN)

The next generation network (NGN),which was first presented in 1997,is becoming increasing popularized and applied worldwide .One of it's key technology ,softswitch ,is becoming more and ripe and powerful under the pushes of numerous manufacturers. At present, there are a lot of pilot projects in the whole country in every large telecommunication operator, carrying on the group network application of NGN. It is predicated according the industry , that the commercial network of NGN will dispose on a large scale from 2006 , and the focus of NGN will transfer to develop more advanced bussiness by 2010.The generalized NGN is a new generation of network technology witch unificates of three nets (voice network , broadband data network , TV network ), and is the supporting network of the third generation of mobile communication (3G). There is a lot of problems to be solved for extensive commercial application ,such as compatibility/interconnection ability ,security problem, QoS problem, nerwork managementand planning problem,terminal problem etc..This thesis include 4 particles:1. It from the analyses of overall goal and demand of NGN , mainly introduces the concept of NGN, and the key technologies of soft-switch, media gateway control technology of NGN etc. ,Emphatically, have put forward the planning that NGN used in LAN, and introduced the business system of NGN.2. Put forward the thinking of construction in LAN, the optimization project unificated with the existing network, and put forward NGN implementation method in LAN.3.
