The traditional PSTN that can not be reconstructed by ISUP+ can be replaced by the introduction of Softswitch in the Convergence Layer. Then the Independency Gateway port is constructed with the tradition PSTN equipment replaced. Meanwhile, we can resolve the access of the important users and new area users in the terminal station. In addition to the service of Softswitch, this scheme can also assure the continuity of PSTN transits in the future.3. The frame of Chongqing telecom Softswitch network is proposed. In the scheme, the schematic of Softswitch equipments, SS, TG, SG, AG and Application Servers are all well designed and the resource layout of Softswitch users is also made. After discussing the relationship of Softswitch and IN, the requirement of supporting network and maintenance is put forward. According to the services forecast, the scheme of Chongqing telecom Softswitch network is developed and the next step construction plan of Chongqing telecom in the next yea is worked out.4.
