Application Of The Softswitch Technology In PHS-Network Design And Realization Of The QBOX

With the integration of the PSTN network, the mobile communication network, Internet and other networks, NGN(Next Generation Network) is promoted to develop. As the prime technology in NGN, the Softswitch technology holds separation of business, capacity and control, and this reflects the core idea of NGN. This paper mainly introduces the Softswitch technology's structure, characteristics, current situation of development and its application. It focuses on the application of the Softswitch technology in PHS—the overview of the QBOX, its function description,network parameters design,the protocols and the business realization.The paper discusses the network design and realization of the QBOX, the main work contains the following points:(1) Conclude the structure and characteristics of the Softswitch technology, analyse the difference between the Softswitch network and the traditional circuit-switched network, and in addition introduce the situation of development and the practical application in home and abroad of the current Softswitch norms. (2) Analyse the details,attributes,terminals of the QBOX and the current situation of PHS of Taiyuan, thus determine the frame of Taiyuan's PHS network after the introduction of the QBOX. More emphasis is put on the introduction of the locations and the functions in the Softswitch network of CS-T,iUMG and SG which are mainly added in the network's frame.(3) Under the premise of deep learning of the Softswitch technology, with the overall carryout of the project, establish the QBOX platform scheme of Taiyuan and at last determine the network's frame and the link model with the PSTN network. More stress is laid on comprehensive analysis of network planning telephone model,service implement process,practical configuration and protocol configuration.(4) At last, after the construction of the QBOX network is finished, put forward the Softswitch rebuilding proposals and the network's frame of Taiyuan's wireless local network.
