Highway Applications And Systems Monitoring Platform Design

The ever-growing popularization and applications of computer systems have resulted in more and more development of itself in the field of operational management. However, the dependence of human being's every day life has seriously increased by the strengthened functions of the computer system. Therefore, there is a need to consider the establishment of an effective surveillance system for the computer platforms. The real-time status of its operations can guarantee a relatively efficient function of the platform.This paper has firstly studied the development and the technical theory of the surveillance management system. And then it has given a comprehensive analysis of the functions, processes and architecture of the surveillance platform according to the research of the actual management system of the Shanghai Expressway. The third part is the overall and special design ideas of the whole system.This paper has well studied and researched the existing system, especially focused on the data acquisition methods and the incident management process, and then has made an initial plan of the implementation. It has established a model to realize the performance analyses by adopting the management technology of surveillance platform. At the end, it has concluded the whole design ideas and gave the possible improvements of the system to provide a useful reference.
