With the development of the construction industry, the standard management of construction market is paid more and more attention by management department. To promote the comprehensive quality of construction enterprise, compare the ability of competition and sustainable development of construction industries and provide a decision and management basis for the management department, objective appraisal is necessary to select the best enterprise.In this paper, the main problems to be solved are how to appraise the construction enterprise objectively and to develop applied software. Appraisal is the basic work in quantitative analysis. Assessment is easy when the problem is single factor. On the contrary, it is hard to assess when many factors which interact with each other are faced. So analytic hierarchy process(AHP) is adopted to establish evaluation index system. The weight and attribute value of each index are analysis. Based on the index system, evaluation method of construction industry comprehensive quality is discussed.Based on the principle of AHP, evaluation index system of comprehensive quality of construction enterprise is established, which integrate the basic condition, production, financial condition and comprehensive quality of construction enterprise. The evaluation index system is divided into five layers, that is target layer, rule layer, sub-rule layer key element layer and plan layer, which are interdependent and mutually-restrained. Through the comparison of every two factors, the method make the problem from quality to quantity. Every index of construction enterprise comprehensive quality is analyzed and calculate using weighted average method, and comprehensive quality value and preferential order of enterprises are obtained. So the best enterprise is selected out.At present, there are not much research on the assessment of construction enterprise comprehensive quality, at the same time applied software concerned is still in the infancy stage. In this paper, evaluation index system of construction enterprise comprehensive quality is investigated and discussed for the first time. The calculation process of the weight and attribute value of each index is programmed, Therefore, calculation automatization was realized. The assessment methods are applied in engineering examples to prove their feasibility and accuracy. In practical application, the applied software for the evaluation of the construction enterprise comprehensive ability is developed through the application of ASP and Access combined with modules of calculation program and data system. The applied software provides enterprise managers high performance and quality service, it also provides important means for super administrative department to assess and supervise construction enterprise.
