Detailed introduction of DW technology,especially data modeling,ETL and OLAP, etc.Basing on the summary of DW theory,the paper expatiates a process of building a DW system about production management of one Steel enterprise.After project,according to the customer' s need and existing data source,we model, design and realize the whole flow of ETL.At last,the paper shows the design of the whole system and function.Then we use the OLAP technology to show multi-dimension data analysis case of the DW system.At the end of the paper,we analyze the effect of using the product and logistics data warehouse and prospect the future of data warehouse.
