The Study Of The Design And Key Technology For JuLong's Data Warehouse Project

Data Warehouse application has become a hot research field in current Information Technology . The applications are used and focused in the fields of telecom, banking, securities, etc. in the domestic market. At present many Data Warehouse products have appeared on the market, but it is an application ,not a product that you can buy on the shelf. In order to avoid a Data Warehouse project meltdown, many key technologies need to be further studied.One application in a domestic cement enterprise is the researching object in this thesis. The existing database application does not meet the needs of enterprises business analysis.So it is necessary to set up data warehouse ,combine OLAP technology and Data Mining technology from a huge amount ,which guarantees the users to be convenient to find and answer complicated question and tendency due to business operation.This thesis introduced the theories and technologies of Data Warehouse. Some of key problems about designing and implementing of Data Warehouse are deeply studied. Finally as a good case ,some ideas of designing and implementing Data Warehosue mentioned above have been applied in operation analyzing system based on the cement industry project successfully, which are useful for constructing the whole Enterprise Data Warehouse in the future.The thesis provides a reference for other cement enterprises.
