The search and rescue, especially salvage at scene, in battlefield plays a key role in saving the life of wounded soldiers and promoting military battle effectiveness. Today, with the rapid development of telemedicine technology, it has been a tendency that computer is used in first aid. One a soldier is wounded, he can immediately send an alarm asking for help. The life guard can real time receive the soldier warning information, and carry out fast search, treat and cure according to electron map guidance and can produce and manage electronic medical tag, which can be real time transferred to database server through wireless communication network. The lifeguard can also use a battlefield trauma scoring and emergent first aid assistant expert system to make a quickly judge, classification and cure. Furthermore, in the midway of the wounded solider being send back for cure, each rescue team can obtain information of the wounded soldier by means of the network. So it is expected to develop a system used for battlefield search and rescue as well as information management by integrating trauma scoring and emergent rescue functions. Such system is extremely necessary and important for our troops, which has no perfect medical equipment. In this paper, we made an extensive study on three aspects of the system. Firstly, after studying the basic information and structure of the medical tag, we designed an electronic medical tag and enhanced its safety by studying different aspects of code, store and transmission. Secondly, we designed different protocols for data and gateway server, which realize warning and electronic medical tag information transmission by means of wireless network of CDMA. Thirdly, we developed a trauma scoring and first aid assistant system by integrating current available trauma scoring methods including PHI, CRAMS, TS, RTS, etc. and first aid methods respectively. The system developed in this paper has been used in a sham battle and daily training, and achieved good social and military effects. By this study, we also accumulated much experience, which makes the basis of our further development and design.
