As threats of bioterrorism are increasing gradually in the world, our country also faces a serious situation. Up to now, the specific information system has not yet been implemented during medical resue for bioterrorism attack. This study designs a medical rescue information system for bioterrorism attack through colligating such technologies as ASP, database and geographical information system so as to provide reference for making preparative plans and taking antiterrorism countermeasures. It can also meet the needs of antiterrorism emergency command and control.Directed by standard software engineering, this paper firstly analyzes the demands of the system based on consulting related experts from the state and military antiterrorism department, which is to provide a comprehensive, quick and easily-operated information system for antibioterrorism medical rescue. Information of the system takes the form of the text and digital map. The goal of the system is set and the general design is completed. After materials of medical rescue for antibioterrorism are collected and arranged, the database structure consisting of sixteen tables is established and fifteen digital map layers are made based on Beijing specially for antibioterrorism. The program designing and debugging is implemented through modularization. The paper mainly discusses methods of implementing the system and the detailed realization process.The paper implements the application system based on Browser/Server structure.The WEB server is Internet Information Server. The GUI(Graphic User Interface) and the main function are implemented using the latest ASP programming language. The database on the server is connected by ADO technology. The geography information system based on WEB is realized by the server module of MapXtreme. The key function includes related query of multitables, searching information based on whole document etc. The geography information system implements the function as ranging, zoomming out and in, selecting by point, orientation by name and map lay controls.he result of this study is a medical rescue information system for bioterrorism attack software which can be extended to other cities and regions. Now the system has been input a lot of data of Beijing such as medicine, vaccines, equipment, plants, hospitals, research institutions, professional forces, experts, preliminary plans, standards, regulations, cases and so on, which are badly needed by antibioterrorism. The system also implements the function of fast querying and principal GIS function . It can provide a useful mode for the study of the related antiterrorism software.
