Battlefield command and geographic information management platform is an important part of automation systems. It is through the information pre-processing, data visualization output, so that commanders can be related to functional modules, always check the geographic information of concern to the battlefield for battle management command authority, command and provide an important basis for decision making.Thesis on the battlefield of geographic information systems management platform goals, architecture, system components and system workflow was demonstrated; combination of software systems to achieve the functional specifications of the architecture and function modules of the overall design; in the development process, technology involved in the software system were analyzed and compared to determine the development methods and tools; data sources through the software, data organization and data transformation between the projection mathematical analysis and processing, design of electronic map layers; developed software man-machine interface systems and modules; established a classification and a database of geographic information battlefield, the battlefield to achieve a geographic information database management, data collection and database information visualization output.Paper's content:(1) The target system has been analyzed, the overall system architecture and system structure have been studied, completed the design of software system modules;(2) Put forward a geographic information component MapX graphics platform for geographic information and Visual C + +6.0 software development environment for programming ideas, and software development methods have been studied;(3) The difficulty of the development process proposed solutions, the system data sources and data organization were analyzed to determine the system's map data sources to solve the system of coordinates and projection transformation issues, the electronic map layer design;(4) Paper designed to achieve battlefield text and graphical information platform combination, achieved its graphical visualization output.
