Mobile Trauma Treatment Expert System Research And Design

Pre-hospital care especially salvage at scene greatly affects the success rate and survival probability in war wound and trauma. But at the spot, because of the limited knowledge and experience, it is possible for the emergency medical technician (EMT) to misdiagnose or treat incorrectly, which greatly affects the aid result. In order to reduce the effect of personal factor in trauma condition judgment and treating, the computer aided care is applied, which guide role in the pre-hospital care and hospital care is accepted by the public. This paper brings forth a new computer aided care model——mobile trauma treatment expert system based on the palmtop computer ,which involve in the personal information IC card, trauma score system and expert system.Firstly, the radio frequency (RF) card reading and writing system will be designed. The radio frequency IC technology is applied and the basic personal information is saved in the IC card. When the trauma occurs, the personal information concerns the trauma condition, the curing method used and the transportation method and so on, which is also saved in the IC card. All the information will provide foundation for the backside hospital to process father treatment. In this paper, the following things are introduced in detail: the hardware configuration, the circuit, the instruction and the protocol of the RF card, the saving of the information in the RF IC card, the serial communication between the card reading and writing instrument and the palmtop computer.Secondly, the design of trauma score system based on the palmtop computer will be done. Integrating such trauma score method as the PHI, CRAMS, TS, RTS, etc, the development of trauma score system based on the palmtop computer will play a certain role in the judgment of trauma condition and first aid, and improve the curing level and success rate.Finally, Based on the thorough analysis of the embedded equipment and embedded mobile database, aiming at the design require of the system, this scheme is adopt, in which the palmtop computer installing with the Windows CE operating system (OS) is used as the terminal equipment.Because the Windows CE OS support the function of database, the embedded developing tool may be used in the palmtop computer that installed with Windows CE OS to develop trauma database and design relevant inquiring system. This paper will introduce the overall design, the detail design, the data inquiry the interface design and incurring process under expert's guide, and will also involve the networking and security of the trauma emergency expert system.The trauma emergency expert system based on the palmtop computer supply the EMT with the expert treating process and emergency care information. Because of portability and simple operation, the system will play a great role at the scene of emergency.
