Due to the development of technology and the need of market economy, the users'information demands change from quantity-oriented to quality-oriented. They are in urgentneed of knowledge information, which are contents-comprehensive, types-perfect andsource-extensive. They also require to be provided with comprehensive, full and systematicknowledge service which aimed at their researches, productions and studies. "Send themost useful information to the users who need it" should be the ultimate goal of practicalactivities of knowledge organization.The concept of knowledge organization of individual-oriented service is a higher levelof the popular information organization. It is a new concept of the information ageadapting to the rising individual demand. It is the foundation of individual service. It is anew growth point of knowledge organization theory system. It has important theoreticaland practical value. No individual knowledge organization, no individual knowledgeservice.In the situation of popularization of individual service, the author provide the theoryof knowledge organization mechanism of individual-oriented service and search user'sindividual demand under digital environment based on the analysis of CNKI. Based on this,we study the proper way of knowledge organization and provide intensively processingknowledge which adopt different organization ways aimed at different users' demand.The theory of knowledge organization mechanism of individual-oriented service is anew development on the basis of knowledge organization theory, is a profound change ofthe field of knowledge organization and management, and is a tenet of knowledge service.From the prospect of application, the research on the knowledge organization theory,techniques and strategies of individual-oriented service under digital environment canprovide theoretical support and practical guidance for the knowledge organizationinstitution.
