Research On The Logical Basis Of Knowledge Organization

With the rapid development of network information technology, knowledge organization has become more and more important. The people urgently need a subject to control, organize, use these vast amounts of information. The theoretical basis of knowledge organization is rich and varied, the logic is one of it. Logic is an science of the reasoning and judgment. Discussing the logic basis of the knowledge organization contributes to growing in the scientific and rational direction for the knowledge organization. Logic and knowledge organization are close. The logic provides a theoretical basis and methodological basis for knowledge organization, it points clearly a self-renewal and perfect direction for knowledge organization.This paper discusses the logic theoretical basis of knowledge organization from four points of view, they are the relationship between the concept and the words theory, the concept division theory, the concepts relationship theory, the general concepts and restrictions theory. And this text uses empirical research method, literature survey research method, interdisciplinary research methods transplantation. This paper analyzes the logic theory of knowledge organization through the category setting, the relationship among categories in the"Chinese Classification", the selection of keywords, reference system setting in the "Chinese Thesaurus", and the concept ontology hierarchy system, the relation between class and class, the concept of hierarchical structure, etc..The conclusion of this paper is based in previous research results. The main text consists of four parts, namely, the concept and its relationship with the word theory of knowledge organization, the concept division theory, the relationship between the concept and the concept theory of knowledge organization, the general concepts and restrictions theory of knowledge organization. Comprehensive analysis of the logic theory of knowledge organization, can provide a solid theoretical foundation. Logic provides a protection for the evolution of knowledge organization. In the proper guidance of the logic, knowledge organization ultimately create the conditions. for realizing and transforming the human world.
