Engine Room Monitoring And Alarm System Design And Realization

The ship's engine room monitoring and alarm system is used for monitoring the ship's information and insuring the safety of the voyage. The design of the ship's engine room monitoring and alarm system based on RS-485 bus and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition). This system used for monitoring the primary engine, donkey engines, lubricate system of their temperature, pressure, liquid, switch and the temperature of the seawater etc. This system can also report the alarm to the unconventionally data and print them.We discussed the newest technology actuality of the ship's engine room monitoring and alarm system at home and in the world, and developed the use of the SCADA Forcecontrol5.0. In order to meet the requirement of the engine room monitoring and alarm in the ship, we planned and designed the monitoring and alarm system. According to the design of layout and laying pipelines, this system adopts the technology of concentrated control, and gathers all the monitoring data to be disposed in the ship's concentrated control room. Through using theⅠ-7000 series of intelligence control modules of the ICP DAS Co., Ltd, we can collect all the data. Considering the output driving ability of the acquisition module is insufficiency, we took the advantages of the security and the stability of the monitoring and alarm system, then designed the external alarm board with sound and light that achieving the function of alarming by the hardware.The practical running and test shows that the system is characterized by the reasonable design, stable performance.The software also had a good performance. As a result, the system has high credibility.
