The dissertation is sponsored and based on the background of keystone subject establishment , Monitor & Control for Power Devices in Marine Engine Room Based on Networks, of national "211" project. It is also meeting the requirements for the standardization, modularization and information, proposed by the Navy. Aimed at the domestic actuality of ship engine control technology, the dissertation bring forward and put the research on the monitor and control for marine engine power system based on three-layer networks, DeviceNet, ControlNet and Ethernet. The results are being to take physical simulation under the platform of gas turbine heat-reuse test-bed, which is sponsored by Committee of National Defense Science & Industry (CNDSI), in our lab. The main contributions are as follow:First, the basic theory, technology characteristics, development and application foreground of field bus control system are described systematically. Combined with historic course in development and requirements for digital control with information process of marine engine devices automation, the dissertation presents the viewpoint of necessity and technical realizability for the automation of marine engine room based on networks. The dissertation expatiates the thought of the automation system used in engine room based on three-layer network architecture. The automation system (include other systems) in engine room will have the characteristics of openality, distribution, digital communication, anti-jamming, high-precision, extendibility under the architecture.Secondly, in order to achieve system configuration, data collection and control, Netlinx open field bus interface is used to provide data linkage between bottom layer devices and management layer to put high-speed discrete control, process control, correspond gearing control...
