Parlayx Protocol Service Access Gateway-based Location Services Design And Implementation

Telecom services are traditionally accessed to mobile service network by using many different access protocols .There are two major disadvantages to this: First, it is difficult for IT community to develop telecom services for they have to know many different telecom protocols. Second, it is not easy for telecom carrier to realize integrated telecom service management. Service Access Gateway is designed to solve those two problems.Service Access Gateway(SAG) is a major function entity which provides a high level of abstraction of telecom capabilities and provides open, uniform ParlayX interfaces to CP/SP in the future mobile service network.It is nessesary for us to design and develop SAGThis article first illustrated how telecom services are accessed now and what problem we face in this mode.And then introduced SAG's function. Then paper simply talked something about the core technology in SAG: ParlayX WebService.This article mainly introduced two different telecom protocols: Moblie Location Protocol (MLP) and Integrated Service Management Access Protocol (ISMAP).SAG design and Location Service implementation are the focus of this paper. From system architecture,module design to internal interface definition,There are detailed introductions to SAG design.In the fifth chapter, this article mainly talked about Location Service Design fromthree aspects:data design, architecture design and flow design. The three main interfaces in Location services are :TerminalLocation, TerminalLocationNotifi cationManager and TerminalLocationNotification. In the sixth chapter, paper mainly introduced SAG location interface development on the following aspects: interface implementation and protocol mapping .Finally this paper introduced function test and performance test of SAG Location Service in the senventh chapter.In the end this paper made a summary of the work performed and discussed next work to be done.
