Method of traditional mobile service accessment is direct accessing the communication element by the service engine interface protocol. But it is hard to use telecommunications technology for SP, ParlayX provide a set of open, network independent API for abstract telecom service, which cover almost every communicaton core device and protocol mapping ability. We can fill in a gap of the IT field and Telecommunication field with ParlayX.ParlayX is a Web Service application, which uses ParlayX Web Service API. With ParlayX, Programmers can implement the application they need only use one or some APIs. There are 12 Service abilities for developers in ParlayX2.0. Now in order to send or receive MMS, we must use specific protocol when we are programming. But with ParlayX Web Service, it will become more convenient. MMS ability is composed of SendMessage, GetMessage and MessageNotification.The Web Service used in ParlayX is based on RPC and simple XML parsing, which has performance deficiency. I will plot out the idea for improving ParlayX Web Service through the research of Web Service Technology.First I will explicate the current situation of service access in this paper, then I will introduce a Parlay X gateway and the protocols used by message services interface in the gateway. SAG design and MMS Service implementation are the focus of this paper, from system architecture,module design to internal interface definition, and also the test of this interface. And I will give some optimize assumption to ParlayX WebService according to my research in WebService technology.
