With the development of network, the users want to get more advanced network service. In order to make the network service person-centered and individuation, the technology of service selection gateway is firstly proposed by Cisco. Through providing individuation service menu and colorful service for clients, the technology of service selection gateway makes the clients and service suppliers closer.Security is the most important problem in the design of service selection gateway. As one of the key strategies assuring the network safe, access control is the absolutely necessarily security technology in the application layer of service selection gateway. Upon this background and on the basis of analyzing the existing access control technology, this paper builds an access control model for service selection gateway. In this paper, firstly, service selection gateway is analyzed and designed, and the important status of access control function module in the design of service selection gateway is pointed out. Secondly, the RBAC is mainly studied and analyzed. Due to the deficiency of RBAC, we introduce a definition that is object role. By using the property of matrix, we build a management model for the layer relationship of object role. Therefore, the organization capability of role to object is mined and the original access control model is amended. Finally, based on the amended RBAC and combining Radius, we design an access control model under service selection gateway. Meanwhile, the application scene of this model is given and the application is emulated and analyzed.
