Gps And Gis Research And Application Of The Monitoring System Of The Car Navigation

With the development of economy and modern information technology, the current transport management and services can't fulfill the demands of public transportation any more. As a result, the intelligent transport system comes into being. As the centre of transport system, the vehicle position and navigation supervision system has becoming the hot topic of research.This article aims at solving vehicle position supervision and navigation in a new environment so as to set up the comprehensive vehicle management system such as alarm, supervision and navigation system. With the reference of concerned materials , the article attempts to probe into the issue about vehicle position navigation and supervision as well as the related technology base in theory, which include: the theory of GPS, GIS and the assistant navigation system; especially, it gives a specific description on the pattern and data structure of electronic map which plays an important role in vehicle position navigation, in addition, it gives a brief introduction about the theory of coordinate convert in the electronic map ; the system is consisted of two parts: one is the vehicle supervision centre and another is vehicle navigation system, each part is designed equipping with position and navigation as well as the expected functions and the global structure of the software in supervision system. The function include: (1) map scanning, which served as scan map easily; (2) position location. It makes the receiving and gaining of GPS data available, and locates the vehicle in the electronic map over GPS data; (3) Geography information inquiring. It contributes to inquiring related information in the map; (4) map matching. To build the relation between location data and electronic map by means of map matching calculation; (5) the alternative of route function. According to the map theory and DIKB, it is available to choose the best way.
