Study On Application Of RUP Technology In Enterprise ERP System

ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems of large-scale enterprises are so complex that models are usually used during the analyse and designment. The 00 (Object Oriented) programing languages and flatforms are widely used for MIS construct. At the same time, the traditional procedure-oriented methods are also be replaced by the 00 methods in system analyse and designment. Comparing with traditional ones, OO analyse and designment methods own distinct advantages, which are suitable for almost every fields to construct wide-scale systems, and can offer sustainments for various kinds of current OO progam languages, operation systems and other developing tools.The thesis aims at the RUP(Rational Unified Process) technology regards architecture as the centre, driven by use case and is an iterative and architecture oriented software development process. A series of iterative developing cycles make the system become more and more consummate , and finally become a perfect one. During the ERP process, a set of iterative develop cycles with each contains several phrases as analysis, design and construct is mainly discussed. And in each phrase, use case diagram, interaction diagram, object diagram, component diagram, state chart diagram, class diagram and other diagrams of UML(Unified Modeling Language) is adapted to describe the full system model.The understanding of UML and RUP method is strengthened through the practical experiment, and the advantages of RUP to traditional ones are clarified. A O-R mapping model is raised and several mapping rules are also made in this paper. The model and rules are used during the development of EMS and is proved to be available for settling O-R mapping problems in OOA&D.The thesis first introduces the background and the significance of the research. Then expounds the research status and the problems to be solved. And after that, it focuses on the related software development technology. The thesis probes into the theory and actual practice of ERP, provides with working flow and quantified evaluation system of ERP in the new product development process. In the end, the thesis brings forth the scheme of software design for ERP on the basis of RUP, and makes a preliminary planning for the following research task. The processes for designing and implementing a ERP Project are general that they can be used for reference to similar programs.
