Faced with the increasing competition pressure and diversified market demands, more and more enterprises focus on the development of the new products. And the innovation ability for new product development has become a pacing factor to decide if an enterprise has competitive power. But the development of the new products is an activity full of risks. In order to reduce the miss ratio during the process, it is of great significance to guarantee the success of the new product development with decision-supporting technology.Quality Function Deployment(QFD) is a systematic method which adopts the theory of multi-levels deductive analysis to put customers'demands into the process of product design and production, and emphasizes the effects of the guiding role of the market and customers'demands, then consequently guarantees the feasibility and applicability of the products from the very beginning of the product development. It has helped promote the ideological study, which focuses on the change from the customers'demands to function demands, to a theoretical and practical phase. The experience from the developed countries has proved that QFD is effective to guarantee the product quality, lower the costs, cut the design time, and reduce the development risks.The thesis aims at the decision-supporting technology. After fully studying the status of the decision-supporting technology adopted in the new product development process of the foreign enterprises, a deep investigation concerning the demands for such technology in tens of local manufacturing enterprises in PanZhihua City has been made.With regard to new products development, the thesis draws up a program for decision-supporting technology and provides that with a QFD analytical model, applicative method, implementing strategy, decision-supporting system structure and corresponding software, to design the software for new product development decision-supporting system on the basis of J2EE(Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition) and put it into practical use in local manufacturing enterprises.The thesis first introduces the background and the significance of the research. Then expounds the research status and the problems to be solved. And after that, it focuses on the related software development technology. The thesis probes into the theory and actual practice of QFD, provides with working flow and quantified evaluation system of QFD in the new product development process. In the end, the thesis brings forth the scheme of software design for decision-supporting system on the basis of J2EE, and makes a preliminary planning for the following research task.
