Manufacturing is important to national economy, foreign trade and nation security. Information and digitization of manufacturing industry is important for the value realization in information economy age. Digital Developing (DD) Technology supports collaborative working between multi-discipline experts on distributed network and product total lifecycle management. As a result, it can improve product quality, shonen period, depress cost, increase the enterprise's competition and accelerate national economy.The paper reviews the manufacturing environment and the developing process of relative DD technologies. The research survey and development trend about Digital Development System for Complicated Product (CPDDS) is analyzed. Key technologies of CPDDS applying are put forward and studied in detail:1. On the basis of stage analyzing of product total lifecycle and research survey of system architecture, CPDDS architecture is put forward, witch is composed of network and digital support sub-system, supply and custom sub-system, collaborative designing sub-system, manufacturing sub-system, enterprise's resource support sub-system, integration and management sub-system, knowledge management sub-system and CPDDS platform. Also functions of CPDDS platform are raised.2. Aimed at the localizations in system modeling research and traits of CPDDS implementing, Result-Chain Based Modeling for Digital Developing (DD-RCM) method is put forward in system analyzing for the first time. The graphical denotation of DD-RCM, that is the semantics, syntax, roles and applying criterion of DD-RCM method is established. The formalization denotation language RDL (RCM Definition Language) is founded and used to describe DD-RCM models. It gives the graphical and formal describing example of DD-RCM model and the characteristic of DD-RCM technology also.3. On the basis of needs for process analysis and modeling, product modeling and process modeling research survey is sum up and the DD-RCM method forCPDDS process modeling is put forward. The abstract and distill principle ofCPDDS process is established and DD-RCM technology is used to describe the basic eiements and basic logic of CPDDS process model. Both DD-RCM model and Workflow model are built and comparing result shows the advantages of DD-RCM method.4. Paper gives both qualitative and quantitative evaluating method of DD-RCMmodel nodes, which makes DD-RCM technology more perfect. Paper givesDD-RCM system architecture, which is composed of modeling sub-system,model management sub-system, model analysis and optimization sub-system,model execution sub-system and software highway and its service. Paper alsogives the DD-RCM software architecture based on COM components.As the CPDDS application and implement object, the developing of railwayloco-engine is studied at last, which demonstrated how to use DD-RCM technology tobuild system models and process models of CPDDS. The application integratingsolution based on DD-RCM process mode is put forward. According to this solution,integrating between DD-RCM and Pro/INTRALINK and managing of concurrentdeveloping process chains is realized.The research on key technologies of CPDDS applying is hi favor of promoting its applying and implementing in enterprises.
