The Product Quality Regular Supervision and Inspection Management Information System of Shandong Province is a management information system that was invested for the realization of Shandong Province product quality supervision and inspection of regular management objectives;to improve the management of product quality supervision and inspection.The main objectives of the system are as follows:to establish enterprises basic files of the province's periodic inspection;to unite criteria of enterprises basic information,product information Management plans for the periodic inspection, supervision and inspection data,test data(including product standards-based data and test results data)as well as the work about statistics and enquiries.Simultaneity it is also a good foundation for electronic monitoring.In this paper,we use a software development methodology called the Rational Unified Process(RUP);use the Unified Modeling Language(UML)for our analysis and design description language;use PB as a technology platform structure.We do requirements analysis and system design on Product Quality Regular Supervision and Inspection Management Information System;analyzed and implemented several function modules in detail,such as projects management module,statistics management module,spot checks management module,sample management module, inspection management module,failure management module,post-processing management module and decision support module etc.Based on the detailed analyses for the project background and Product Quality Regular Supervision and Inspection Management Information System current status for enterprises internationally,this paper presents the major issue must be solved and the whole system descriptions.Further more,it gives a detailed requirement analyses and system architecture.To illustrate,some topical samples are used to show how system modules are designed and implemented.At the end of the paper,it describes the detailed design for the most difficult and important module,Data Exchange Module,to show the method that we used.In this paper,the following key issues are solved:Firstly,at the present time,it is lack of mutual and standard methodology for RUP and UML development standards.As a result,in the actual development process, it is easy to bring divarication,lead to increased communication costs and reduce development efficiency.In this paper,a combination method of RUP and traditional waterfall construction process,as well as UML and structural procedural languages introduced.Then it standardized the criterion and standards in the team working environment and improved development efficiency.Secondly,there are two basic structures for large enterprise Management Information Systems.They are Centralized systems and Client/Server systems.In this paper,we adopted the "centralized / distributed" such a mixed framework and implemented a data exchange platform how to make data synchronization.Thirdly,in the system design,there are a higher degree of system stability and data consistency.And the province,city and country supervision management centralized model is used in our system.Regional supervision management bodies and testing agencies used single mode.And our system,through the uniform data element mode,realized efficient data transfer and consistency.
