Productive logistics is special feature of manufacturing corporations, and it is synchronous with the production process carrying through within a workshop. Therefore, the layout design of the workshop is the precondition of a good logistics system. The production system is determined by the layout of the workshop, whether it is reasonable and smooth or not is crucial to the benefit of the enterprise. Whether the layout is good or not determines not only the running state of the production logistics system but also the smooth of the production process, and it is one of the important parts of obtaining high profit.Taking the manufacturing workshop, ZMPC Pudong inc. in Shanghai for example, its layout of the workshop,production process and logistics conditions are analyzed, the theories and methods of enterprise logistics system analysis are used to redesign its equipment layout and logistics system to improve the productivity.The first part of this paper introduces the basic concepts and importance of logistics and enterprise's production logistics, the state of the art of researches, the background and contents of the paper, as well as the route to develop the paper. At the end of the first part, the efactory software used for simulating the production system is elaborated, and it also introduces factorycad and factoryflow which are the two extended module of efactory software. The second part elaborates the actuality of the production system in the current manufacturing workshop, containing the analyses of the product construction,the analyses of the layout of the machines in the workshop,the analysis of the process route to production and the carrying equipments as well. The third part of the paper is to simulate the current production system with efactory software, firstly, modeling the production flow with factoryflow module, then, modeling the layout of the manufacturing workshop with efactory module. The forth part optimizes the current manufacturing workshop and modes the optimized workshop, then, simulating. The fifth part compares the results of the optimized system with the original one in ways of total distance of carrying, the cost of carrying and the efficiency of the carrying and so on.
