The twenty first century is a century of information and technology, as well as a b ooming epoch of computer science. And the computer education in vocational schools is getting more and more important. In recent years, the students from vocational schools are reluctant to study, and the old schooling customs are not well adapted to them. As for commercial enterprises, they hope their new employees would go straight to work without further professional training. Facing these requirements, the teachers are going t o reform teaching methods and adapt the students to meet and the requirements and sta ndards the social development as well as enterprises have set.This study has made a research on computer lessons based on the concepts and characteristics of project teaching through intensive reading of professional literature. It has introduced a thorough understanding of the students' learning and the teachers' teaching from various aspects, which is resulted from a twelve-month practice and research ofproject teaching on the secondyear students of my vocational school.Within the procedure, the study was made between two classes. One class is using traditional teaching methods and the other is taking periodical programs based on proje ct teaching. With the midterm conditions and the outcome of the final examinations, the final analysis was made with quantitive and identified methods.Through project teaching, the students will have clear understanding of the target c ontents which they would apply in solving problems in real projects with ease and enab les them to their future career.Due to the problem of limited time, this study is not thorough enough. At the end of this paper some further requirements on more questions are proposed and there sho uld be pointed out the direction of the study. |
